MRT, INC. UNDERTAKES STATEGIC PLANNING PROCESS

Encouraging use of the Mississippi River trail and facilitating route development have emerged as the key strategic goals for MRT Inc., according to decisions made at a MRT Inc. Board meeting last November in Memphis. “We feel really good about the direction we’re headed in,” said MRT Inc. Board Chair Mark Ackelson of des Moines. “Board work groups will spend some time developing priority projects, and the results should be evident to cyclists and to our partners in the near future.” The priority projects being decided on will guide the work of MRT Inc.
